Background

About

I'm Corey Petty — technologist, security engineer, and founder of Petty Services LLC. I hold a PhD in Computational Physical Chemistry, which means I spent years modeling complex systems before applying that rigor to building them.

My career has spanned national security consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton, security and infrastructure leadership at Status.im, and deep involvement in the Ethereum ecosystem. I've designed peer-to-peer protocols, built decentralized infrastructure, and helped teams navigate the intersection of cryptography, systems engineering, and product development.

I'm also known for hosting The Bitcoin Podcast and Hashing It Out — shows focused on explaining the technical foundations of decentralized technology to a broad audience.
